Special Group Rates

Special group rates are available for groups of 20 or more. Group tours must be scheduled three weeks in advance. For more information please email Carolyn Tatum . Smith Plantation only accepts cash or check.


Parking is available at 950 Forest Street, at the Cultural Arts Center, or at Roswell City Hall. Limited handicap parking is available at 935 Alpharetta.

Tour Information

Tours are of the main house, grounds, and outbuildings. Tours may include an exhibit in the barn if an exhibit is on display and generally last one hour. Please purchase your ticket at the front door of the home at the appropriate tour time. No photography is allowed inside of the Smith Plantation Home.

Self-Guided Tours

Self-guided tours are available for download or by using a cell phone to call 770-225-2457. The self-guided tours are of the grounds only. All home tours are docent-led.

Smith Plantation is owned by the City of Roswell and operated with support from the Archibald Smith Plantation Home Preservationists, Inc. Smith Plantation is located in Historic Roswell adjacent to the Roswell Municipal complex.
